Oven: 400ºF
Makes: 5-8 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1 bag of pita bread
1 jar garlic and onion spaghetti sauce
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (can eliminate to make milk-free)
pepperoni slices
4 sliced roma tomatoes
fresh basil leaves, torn into bite size pieces
chopped green onion
additional toppings as desired
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400º
- Layer pita bread, spaghetti sauce, cheese, pepperoni, tomatoes, and basil leaves.
- Place pita bread directly on the oven rack.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes or until cheese has melted and edges are golden brown.
